The Timber Creek High School community is saddened to announce the passing of TCHS Junior Zachary Shayne Richardson.
The following are excerpts from his obituary, published Dec. 28:
“Zachary Shayne Richardson went to be with our Lord on Monday December 22, 2014. He was born on June 23, 1997 in Fort Worth, Texas to Luke Shayne Richardson and Kellye Dawn Meyer. Shayne was a Junior at Timber Creek High School in Keller, Texas and a member of TCTV Crew. Shayne loved his family and friends. He was an avid collector of comic books and spent many hours hanging out at Sci-Fi Factory playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. He planned on going to Full Sail University in Florida to study Computer Programming. Shayne’s beautiful smile and sense of humor were his trademarks. He was loved by so many who will feel his loss forever.”
“A memorial service will take place at United Methodist Church of Keller at 2:00 PM on December 30, 2014 with visitation at Wade Funeral Home, Arlington, TX, on Monday Dec 29 from 6-8 PM. After this Shayne will make a final trip to New Mexico the place he loved so much where he will be laid to rest next to his “Papo”, Albert M. Richardson in Hondo Cemetery, Hondo, New Mexico on Friday January 2, 2015 at 2 PM. A graveside service will take place preceding interment.”
