Timber Creek softball season starts Tuesday and the players are confident their team will start the season well.
Junior Kylee Foster said she was “very confident” in this year’s varsity team. “I know we will play together as one,” Foster said.
The first official game is Tuesday, Feb. 17 against Richland High School. In scrimmage games the team played Richland and although the score wasn’t officially kept, the girls played two great games.
The confidence in the softball teamwork even extends to those playing in their first official high school ball game.
“I know if we all work together as a team and help each other out then we will win,” freshman Makenzie Ramirez said.
“Both teams have worked incredibly hard for this season,” team member Kaitlyn Atchley said. “We’ve all tried our best to become the team we know we can be. We practice everyday after school and during those practices we have become closer as a team.”
The varsity Lady Falcon softball team throws out their first pitch at 5 p.m. The JV team follows at 7:30 p.m.
