Varsity softball had a tough loss to the Keller Indians 5 to 1 on Tuesday. The girls fought hard but didn’t get the win.
“It’s not that we weren’t hitting,” Senior Hailey Joiner said, “we just didn’t string them together at the right times or in the right spots.” And it showed with the Indians having a total of eight hits and Creek Softball having just one.
The junior varsity game was a big win for the girls, defeating Keller’s JV 6 to 5 in a close game.
Sophomore Bailee O’Brien shared the key to their success. “Everyone was determined to beat Keller and it was noticeable by the appearance of our offensive game.”
Both teams will face Northwest High School on Tuesday, March 24.
