After an unfortunate hiatus from track because of the harsh weather, runners all around Keller and surrounding cities finally were able to compete at various track meets.
Competing at Joshua High School, both girls JV and varsity teams placed first. JV scored 171 points, 66.5 points ahead of the team in second place. For varsity girls, they scored a total of 154 points, which was 63 points ahead of the team in second place.
The boys teams were successful, too. Boys JV placed first at 170 points, a total of 54.5 points ahead of the team in second place, while varsity had a second place finish with 116 points, just 12 points shy of being in first place.
With an outstanding performance from both boys and girls varsity and junior varsity teams, Timber Creek teammates were thrilled with one another when a few even broke personal and school records, giving the team good hopes going into district.
