This past weekend your Timber Creek Falcons ran in the Keller High School Invitational at Trinity Springs school.
The results were stellar as the varsity boys, JV boys, and JV girls all came in first, while the varsity girls came in fourth out of 8 teams.
Varsity boys narrowly defeated district rival Central by a margin of 5 points with Timber Creek’s own Senior Mauri Padilla placing fourth with a time of 16:21.
The JV boys had a much easier time winning by a large margin 31 points over, once again, rival Central. The leading runner for the Timber Creek JV boys was Senior Boston McGahie with a 17:21 placing second at the meet, which is his personal record for his Cross Country career.
The JV girls won by a margin of 11 points and their top runner was Senior Bianca Picacio with a 21:59.
Varsity girls came in fourth place with a score of 127 points and their leading runner was Freshman Amanda Gordon with a 20:24 personal record.
All in all, winning three out of the four meets isn’t a bad way to further push towards that goal of winning district and going to state.
