Timber Creek Broadcast Journalism students learn audio and video reporting in a variety of content areas including news and sports. Our students write, report, film, edit, and run industry-standard equipment to produce high-quality non-fiction content for the Timber Creek Talon student news service and Timber Creek Television (TCTV).
Our live broadcasts are completely run by students who act as directors, producers, graphics and camera operators, as well as live commentators that analyze statistics and provide additional details. Students help set up and take down equipment and are hands-on during the entire live broadcast, which is steamed to various sources, including the NFHS Network.
