Timber Creek Wrestling traveled to Houston on the weekend of Jan 8-9 for a competition with more than 80 schools. It’s the largest tournament held in Texas.

Several wrestlers placed in the top 8, bringing awards back with them.

Jamie Paterson came in first within the 126lb weight class and won the Champion title.

Rachel Bridges won another Champion title after coming in first place in the 215lb weight class.

Chase Carter was the runner up in his 138lb weight class, placing second at the meet.

Timber Creek wrestlers Jeremiah Miller ranked 6th in the 160lbs weight class and Christian Horrigan ranked 7th at 113lb.

TCHS placed fifth overall in the highly competitive match where only one match separated the first and fifth place teams. Coach Craig Roark says Timber Creek is one of the top 10 teams in the state.
