Wear Your College Gear March 10

AVID teachers Ms Sterling and Mrs Boswell have come up with the idea of dressing up in college gear on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

The whole reason for the idea is to spread awareness to all the undecided teens on campus, because every single person who wears a college logo will be advertising it to them. There’s even a hashtag for the day, and it’s #TCHSGoesToCollege.

AVID Tutor Ian Meneses said he thought the idea could bring attention to all colleges, big or small.

“Like A&M Commerce and TCU, and even the smaller colleges that branch from them. It just gets the names out there for the students to see,” Meneses said.

Trying to figure what college you want to attend is a very serious decision, but hopefully seeing all the options around you next Thursday will help. So wear your college shirt on March 10th, and help get the the hashtag trending.
