We see you counting down. We are, too. So here’s exactly how the rest of the Spring semester works.
The end of the 5th six weeks is Friday, April 15. Then the final six weeks for the 2015-16 school year kicks into gear on Monday, April 18.
In the first week of May, students will have End of Course (STAAR) and/or AP tests.
On May 2, 2016 students will take the EOC/STAAR test for Algebra 1. Other students will have a regular school day.
On May 3, 2016 students will take Biology or US History EOC/STAAR exams. This day will be a late arrival for non-testing students, but details have not yet been released.
More details on both testing dates will be published closer to the actual events.
Then there’s AP Testing. Woah. Just look at that schedule below:
The rest of May is a blur. Seniors have Prom scheduled for May 21, 2016, then Finals around May 23-26 depending on the teacher and subject.
The end for seniors is Graduation, scheduled for May 28, 2016, but they shouldn’t forget to be at the mandatory rehearsal on May 27 to pick up their tickets and get ready for the main event.
Here’s a handy countdown clock to Timber Creek Graduation:
Other students get Monday, May 30, off before coming back for their finals on May 31, June 1 and 2. See the full schedule of finals below:
The last day of school is June 2, 2016.
Here’s a countdown to that time, too:
FYI: Both of these clocks count CALENDAR dates/times, not school days…
