StuCo Green Cord Program Meeting Sept. 27

Student Council is recognizing students who volunteer with the Green Cord program.

The Green Cord Community Service Award Program is a program that will award students who complete 100 community service hours in a single school year. Graduating seniors who complete the 100 hours will receive a certificate and a green cord to wear at graduation. Freshman, sophomores and juniors will be awarded a different color cord for each year that they complete the program.

To be eligible, the student must have a minimum of 100 volunteer hours, 40 of which must be from an organization outside of school. 40 out of the 100 hours must also be done by the second to last day before winter break.

If you are interested in joining, there will be a meeting at 7:45 a.m. and another at 4 p.m. in the Lecture Hall on Sept. 27.
