The Career Technology Education Department will be hosting approximately 30 female veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life on Jan. 6, 2017 at KCAL through an organization called Grace After Fire.
The culinary, photography, AV and cosmetology programs will be serving these ladies through food, professional photos, a marketing video and a makeover.
If you have some gently used professional clothing or shoes that you are prepared to donate, please email kim.smith@kellerisd.net to let her so that they may collect it and get it to the ladies on Jan. 6, 2017. If you could provide hangers, so that it may be kept in a nice condition until that date, it would be most appreciated.
They will accept the clothing at Keller City Hall near the front desk from Dec. 17, 2016 through Jan. 3, 2017.
