Timber Creek’s National Honor Society is celebrating a successful run of the annual Hope for the Holidays event.
Timber Creek staff and students were able to donate $7,465 to the cause, according to NHS Sponsor Cerissa Johnson.
This year’s total was more than double last year’s effort where Falcons brought in $3,184 during the 2015 run.
With the money raised, NHS was able to donate holiday gifts to 4o Timber Creek families in need.
Mrs. Groters, AP English III teacher, pulled in the most amount of money for the event.
Groters’ English classes brought together $1,114 to the cause.
