JMR Hits the Timber Creek Radiowaves

From conspiracy theories all the way to Valentine’s Day, JMR discusses it all.

JMR is a student-run Timber Creek Radio show with three hosts: Jackson Thibodeaux, Madison Galer, and Rylee Cristan. Each show runs two hours long from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. As one of TCFM’s newer productions it has become a project with all hands on deck, whether it’s coming up with discussion topics or editing the audio, the whole radio broadcasting class joins in on the process.

One of JMR’s hosts Madison Galer touches on the origin story of how JMR came to be.

“We all Anchored for an episode of TCTV and we kept the camera rolling once we were finished and Mr. Janda liked what he heard,” and then a the radio show, JMR was proposed.

Since early Dec., JMR has been a concept that was made into a reality with currently two shows having been released.

“I just love the atmosphere of JMR. Jackson and Rylee are my two my favorite people in the entire universe.” Galer shares, “It’s great to work with them.”
