Wrestling Pinned Down Win at Yukon Competition on Jan. 21

Timber Creek’s wrestling team pinned down wins at the Yukon Millers’ Jay Hancock Memorial Tournament.

The Timber Creek men’s team won 11th place as a team. Nathan Grimes won third in the 182 pound weight class. Austin Fox won fourth in the 160 pound weight division. Chase Carter won fourth place in the 138 pound weight class. Brendan Medlin won sixth place in the 120 pound weight class.

“I lost my first round match and had to wrestle lots of matches to place. But it felt nice to win those tough matches,” Medlin commented.
