Timber Creek will be hosting the induction of the School Store this coming Thursday, Feb. 23. Also, on Feb. 23 at 8:00 a.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at the grand opening.
The formality and the store will be located in the Birdhouse – where football tickets are usually available for purchase. Students will be able to shop for spirit wear, snacks and other necessities before and after school, from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.
The School Store has been an achievable project due to the many individuals and organizations participating in the upbringing. Students from various clubs and classes have not only volunteered for specific tasks, but are also running the store as a whole.
Through a complex system and process, the School Store is an imitation of a real-life work field in hopes to train Timber Creek’s aspiring business students.
