Timber Creek’s varsity wrestling teams took home six gold medals at the Arlington Bowie Competition on Jan. 27.
The varsity mens’ team won four gold medals with winners being Jeremiah Miller, Austin Fox, Nathan Grimes and Roderick Valentine.
The women’s team won two gold medals with winners being Rachel Bridges and Bethany Smith.
The varsity mens’ team finished in fourth place and the varsity women’s team finished in sixth. Ten out of the 16 JV wrestlers took home medals at the competition.
“The team is working really hard to succeed and we still manage to have a lot of fun!” said Varsity captain, Jeremiah Miller.
