Jonathan Elliston, the three time wheelchair basketball tournament champion, was awarded the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA)’s High School Academic All-American second team.
He was presented with the award at the NWBA Junior’s Awards Banquet in Louisville, Kentucky.
Elliston presented Principal Donnie Bartlett with a copy of the award on April 13.
His team, the Dallas Jr. Wheelchair Mavericks, ended up in third place nationwide with only one loss during the season.
