The Sky Dancers competed on Saturday, March 25, at the National Companionship at the Fort Worth Convention Center and brought home multiple wins as well as the title for National Champion Trio.
The team also received the following titles:
-Fourth place Officer Small Ensemble
-Third place Jazz
-Third place Military
-Second place Pom
Junior, Rachel Anderson commented “We normally don’t place the highest in pom out of our three dances, but we did this time so that was a good surprise.”
The dancers were even invited to the winners circle as recognition of their skills at the end of the competition.
“It really showed us that we can do anything we put our minds to,” said senior, Sade Ard.
This marks the last competition that the beloved Sky Dancers will do for the 2016-2017 school year.
