Timber Creek Bands Recieve Outstanding Scores At UIL

On Wednesday April 19, 2017 the Timber Creek band had an amazing finish at their UIL competition. Four of the five Timber Creek concert bands attended and received excellent scores from the judges.

The four bands that attended UIL were Wind Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert One. Each band gets two sets of scores. Three for their concert performance and three for their sight reading performance. Then the score is averaged to two final scores, with a one being the highest score a band can receive.

Band name: Concert score – Sight reading score

Wind Symphony: 1-1

Wind Ensemble: 1-1

Symphonic Band: 1-2

Concert One: 1-1

“I am proud to be apart of the Wind Ensemble this year and all we have achieved,” said Sophmore French Horn player Arianna Teitelbaum, “Mrs. Warren is an outstanding director and a great leader for us; she sets big goals and expectations for us and I love working hard to achieve them.”
