On and Off the Field: Stadium and Tailgating Rules

The wait is over, and football season is finally upon us. Come Saturday fans will come out and support their school, as their teams duke it out on the gridiron. Before any game day festivities, it is imperative that everyone knows proper procedures and stadium rules.

To start off, home fans must enter and exit on the home side, the west stands, while visiting fans must enter and exit the visitor’s side, the east stands; crossing over from home to visitor’s side, and vice versa, is prohibited. Home and visitors are required to park on their own respective sides, or the overflow lot next to the tennis courts. Backpacks, regardless of size are not allowed to enter the stadium, outside food or drink is not allowed to enter the stadium. Tailgate areas for home and away fans are marked on the attachment. Re-entry to the stadium is not permitted, if a fan leaves the stadium, they may be asked to buy another ticket to gain entry back into the stadium.

Fans are not permitted to spray/throw  things like baby powder, confetti, water into the air during football games.   Additionally no artificial noise makers such as air horns are permitted.

For band, cheer, and drill: visitors will be dropped off on the visitor side lane next to the visitors entrance. The band equipment semi truck will be parked in the first row of the parking lot for the event. After drop off the band, cheer, and drill team busses will need to park in the overflow lot, north of the stadium-they may return to their original spot during the third quarter of the game.

Athletic Trainers may unload along the side of the stadium parking lot or along the field house drive, but are prohibited from parking in the dirt/grass area next to the field house.

All coaches, program sponsors, directors, student participants, and athletic trainers with their performing groups are allowed field access, without a pass. All adults who are not included in the list above, such as Docs, media, video crew, college scouts, and photographers, must have a pass to gain field access. All student photographers, and video crews also need to have a pass to gain access to the field. Students, who are not accompanied by an adult, or have a field pass, are denied field access.

Remember to know, and follow all the procedures and rules at Saturday’s game, and cheer on the Falcons!
