National Art Honors Society Set to Meet August 22
The National Art Honor Society will begin their first meeting of the calendar school year on Tuesday Aug. 22 at 3:45 p.m. or Wednesday Aug. 23 at 8:00 a.m. in M109.

Timber Creek students witnessed the August 21, 2017 solar eclipse with safe and innovative methods to observe the phenomenon.
The counselors have made changes this year to accommodate over 3,000 students. Three counselors left after the 2016-17 school year ended and three more counselors have come in since then. This plan has not been in motion for very long, but due to how many students have enrolled, they decided to move some things around.
What began as only a student media experiment, the Timber Creek Radio has now flourished into a fully functioning station.
A new traffic light has been installed at the intersection between Funnel Street and N. Beach Street, creating a safer environment for students crossing the street as well as regulating traffic.

Destination High School has become a common phrase around the halls of Timber Creek, but not many students know what that entails and why Principal Donald Bartlett shows so much passion towards the phrase.
As the second week of the 2017-2018 school year rolls around, the administrators want to ensure that there is a dress code, and if not followed, there will be consequences.
