Timber Creek Sports Network opens its third year broadcasting with a jam-packed Fall season of live sports broadcasts and a new “select” designation.
Following TCSN’s two Finalist nominations for Best Overall Broadcast Program and for Highlight of the Year during the 2017 NFHS Network Awards, the program has now been named to the 2017-18 NFHS Network School Broadcast Program Honor Roll as a “Select School.”
“Select” schools are described by the network as having “demonstrated excellent broadcasting skills” including using multiple cameras, live commentary, professional quality graphics and video.
“I’m very proud of the Broadcasting students as they continue to receive well-deserved recognition for the hard work they put into their broadcasts,” Journalism teacher Greg Janda said. “I can’t wait to see what this season brings for Timber Creek sports and for Sports Net.”
