The UIL Math Team will hold its first meeting Thursday afternoon, Nov. 16. in Ms. Dolecki’s room, N125 from 3:50 to 4:30. UIL Math Team is open to anyone with a variety of math skills and a love for the subject, the team also requires no fee to join.
National Novel Writing Month, the worldwide event that inspires writers to create an entire book in a single month began Nov. 1 and continues until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30.
Timber Creek’s Speech and Debate Team will have their second annual events showcase on Nov. 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Stephen Evans is the vocal director for the school’s musical, has been involved in church work as a music minister, and has a deep passion for baking, all while teaching high school choir.
The state cross country meet is on Saturday Nov. 4, in Round Rock, TX, and although the entirety of the cross country team didn’t qualify, two runners will be traveling to compete: junior Branden Lange and senior Rylee Cristan.
