The Sky Dancers are hosting their annual Dance Clinic on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The clinic is $30 and includes dance training, a Q&A for potential Sky Dancers, a special dance clinic T-shirt, and a performance after the clinic.
“The clinic helps pay for high competition fees,” said sophomore line member, Hannah Mclendon. “It helps us to practice teaching and being leaders, and it helps show soon to be sky dancers how to dance.”
“The clinic gives Mrs. Harris an opportunity to see upcoming sky dancers,” said sophomore line member, Allyson Wilson. “Sky Dancer officers actually teach the clinic, while line members assist the people in the clinic.”
The Sky Dancers competed at the National Companionship at the Fort Worth Convention Center and brought home multiple wins as well as the title for National Champion Trio in the 2016-2017 school year.
The flyer linked is due by Nov. 17 and guarantees participants a shirt in the appropriate size. Participants will return the form and payment to Timber Creek’s main office. Students of TC will return the form to dance teacher, Lindsey Harris.
