Timber Creek Hockey Players Shoot Out the Rink

The Keller ISD Hockey Team houses students from across the district, but many players in the High School Hockey League are students that attend Timber Creek. All three tiers – varsity gold, varsity bronze, and junior varsity silver – consist of multiple Timber Creek players.

Varsity Bronze Players from Timber Creek

Junior Varsity Players from Timber Creek

The players are fiercely entering the middle of their 2017-18 season. Although varsity gold is currently suffering a losing streak, varsity bronze has won four out of their nine games and junior varsity silver has won half of their season so far.

The current leading scorer on varsity bronze is Eric Hohler, a junior at Timber Creek who occasionally plays on varsity gold as well. Hohler joined the sport as a hobby and has grown invested in the game. He firmly believes bronze has the skills to score a spot in the playoffs this season.

Many other hard-working players from Timber Creek have dreams of becoming professional hockey players in the future, utilizing this district-wide hockey league to improve their skills and have fun doing what they love.

Players and coaches would love for students to come out and support the hockey team by attending  some of the upcoming games. All schedules can be viewed below or on the Dr. Pepper Starcenter High School Hockey website. On the website, students can also view player stats and scores form every game this season.
