New Swim Coach to Make a Splash at Timber Creek
At the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year, Coach Betsy Murphy arrived on campus to fulfill the recently vacant Head Swim Coach position at Timber Creek. After the past couple years as an assistant swim coach at Central High School, Murphy was excited to transfer and lead a entirely new team to high victories.
French Club Convenes Wednesday Sept. 13
The French Club celebrates French and Francophone culture by promoting the use of the French language and providing an exploration of the diversity and richness of French-speaking communities throughout the world.
Lights Out T-Shirts Literally Go Lights Out
For the Lights Out themed football game on Sept. 8, T-shirts were ordered as per usual for students to show support for the Timber football team. The shirts were black, with the words TURN OUT THE LIGHTS in bold white lettering, but this time there was a little twist, as the shirts were promised to glow in the dark.
Earth Warriors First Meeting Sept. 11
A four year old club called the Earth Warriors will be meeting on Monday, Sept. 11 at 3:50 pm and Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 8:00 am in Coach Arkfield’s room M212.
See You at The Pole to Meet Sept. 27
Christian prayer has been stood for by See You at the Pole, since 1990. This organization is just a representation of the gathering of students on every fourth Wednesday of September in order to pray around their respective flag poles for their school, their country, or even their world.

From Classroom to Crib: Human Growth Teacher Gives Birth to New Baby
Emily Boehringer started her education career eight years ago but just four years ago she joined the Falcon family. And on Sept. 2 at 6:02 p.m. daughter Addilyn Mae Boehringer was born and joined the Falcon family as well.
