After Timber Creek’s volleyball placing second at the Berkner tournament, senior Kenna Muff won the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s volleyball player of the week as of Aug. 27 to Sept. 3.

Aaron Lancaster walked into Timber Creek High School on August 15 just like any other junior starting the 2017-18 school year. But almost five months earlier, while the school was dressed in red to show support, he lay in a coma with doctors unsure of his survival.

Timber Creek just won their first football game of the season against Nimitz.

National Art Honor Society is set to meet on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 3:45 p.m. or on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 8:00 a.m. in room M109. All members must attend one of these meetings.

Rugby Club was one of the most successful clubs of the 2016-2017 school year, and it will return for the 2017-18 school year with an introductory meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

The University of Michigan marching band is scheduled to rehearse on the Timber Creek football field on Friday, Sept. 1 from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
