Senior year is just around the corner for current juniors. The first order of business for upcoming seniors: parking passes.
Juniors can purchase their ‘senior spot’ for $100 on the Keller ISD web store starting on May 1 to May 25. Students may not pay with cash or check in person. If a student has a parent or guardian that works in the district, they are eligible for 50% off the price. Click here to visit the web store.
The official date for choosing a personal parking spot will be May 24 at 1p.m. in the south hall office. Students may begin to line up right when the bell rings at 12:30 p.m. However, the process for choosing a parking spot will not actually begin until 1 p.m. No student will be allowed to leave class early to make the front of the line, or they will be risking their parking pass selection altogether. The makeup for picking a parking spot will be on Senior Sunrise, Aug. 11, at 8 a.m.
“I’m so excited for senior year and to get to paint my own parking spot,” junior, Madison Galer said.
In order to pick a spot, all seat time must be completed, and library fines must be paid. A digital or paper copy of the receipt from the web store will also be necessary when picking a spot.
The incoming senior class will paint their spots on Aug. 11, right after senior sunrise. Bad weather makeup days will be from Aug. 13 to Aug. 15. If extra time is needed to finish, students are permitted to come on those dates as well.
How do incoming Juniors purchase their parking pass? I don’t see it listed in the Keller ISD store.
