From April 14 to 15, the animation team at Timber Creek sent in their work to the Skills USA state level competition in Corpus Christi, TX.
Skills USA is a competition where different programs can compete for scholarships and get recognition in the state and nation.
Unfortunately the animation team did not advance to nationals but competitor, Audrey Weight, junior here at Timber Creek has pride in how it went for their team.
“We had a lot of fun with it and we really put ourselves out there. In Animation 1 no one had really competed before, [so] in Animation 2 we were like let’s show everyone what our animation style is like, and we competed against…[people] who had more experience,” said Weight. “So we were really proud of how it came out in the end.”
