TCFM, Timber Creek High School’s student-powered radio station is starting the shift into the Summer schedule this week.
TCFM programming will switch over at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 — about 15 minutes after students get out of school for the 2017-18 school year.
“We’ve had an amazing year with TCFM, celebrating our first birthday, offering more live sport broadcasts, including football and baseball, and putting more student voices on the air through new programs and DJ sets,” TCFM adviser Greg Janda said.
The final episodes of At The Buzzer and The Nosebleeds are scheduled to air May 21-May 24, 2018 before the station shifts into the summer schedule.
“It’s bittersweet to hear these last episodes,” Janda said. “The Nosebleeds has been a consistently fun show each week this year, and At The Buzzer, which was 2 Minute Drill, has been a staple of TCFM since the very beginning.”
The summertime schedule will include popular, recently released hit songs, plus classics, all with a summer vibe.
“TCFM will keep broadcasting, 24/7 all the way through summer vacation and into next school year,” Janda continued. “The student, teacher and community support has kept us going!”
