Starting on Monday, Sept. 10, and continuing every Monday throughout the school year, librarian Brandy Abbott, will host an event called Maker Mondays.
This event will be home to different craft activities that allow students to hone their skills in specialized creative areas. There will be stations for students to build and play with robots, create beaded jewelry, courtesy of the Jewelry Club, create graphic designs using 3-D pens, and many more crafts and activities.
Students are also welcome to bring any creative activities and abilities that they have to these interactive after school meetings.
“Anyone is welcome to come,” said Abbott. “Come join us in the Library after school. We’ll hold meetings every Monday that students are here.”
Maker Mondays is an opportunity for Falcons to show off their hidden talents and a great chance to make some new friends while doing it.
