Twelve Timber Creek Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent

With 12 senior student-athletes from soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball participating, the Timber Creek High School Fall Signing took place on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 3 p.m. in the main gym.

Choosing the college that she would attend and continue both her educational and athletic career, volleyball player, Kristina Quinn expressed the emotional impact of signing with Doane University, taking the next step towards her future of being a teacher and coach for the sport that she loves the most.

“My journey has been a mountain, with mudslides attacking me and pushing me back down every time I reached the top,” said Quinn. “I didn’t think that a volleyball team would support me, or maybe that people would just give up. This moment is redemption for the hard work, dedication, blood, sweat and tears that it took to get me here.”
