Starting in the 2020 school year, Timber Creek will become one of the Social and Emotional Learning pilot campus for Keller ISD. Social and Emotional Learning is the process where children and adults learn to understand and manage emotions, maintain positive relationships, make responsible decisions and more.

Twenty-nine art students qualified for state at the Region 11 VASE competition on Saturday, Feb. 9. A total of 35 art pieces from Timber Creek will join 72 from Keller ISD in San Marcos this coming April.

The varsity and junior varsity Winterguards competed at the WGI Dallas regional competition last Saturday, Feb. 8. Both guards advanced to finals after their prelims performances, something that has never been done at a WGI contest in Timber Creek history.
Four student athletes officially decided the college that they will attend to continue both their educational and their athletic careers. With cross country, track, baseball and football participating, the Timber Creek High School Spring Signing took place on Wednesday Feb. 6.
This past weekend, the Indoor Drumline started their season off receiving first place with their show entitled “Club Duæl”. The group performed in Lewisville, TX at North Texas Colorguard Association or NTCA, competing against 2 other schools and finishing with a 75.15, a four point lead from second place.
With the stakes high to qualify within the top two, one one thousandth of a second could be the deciding factor between a champion and just another competitor.
