Ever Wanted to Play Volleyball Against Your Teachers?

After school on Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21, students will compete in the American Heart Challenge Volleyball Tournament in the gym. In order to sign up to compete, students must talk to Coach Tina Demichele, Brad Mouser, or Erin Wood. The winning team of the tournament will face off against the faculty team on Friday, March 22 during fifth period.

Starting now, teams may sign up with any of the mentioned coaches. Their participation fee and deadline to sign up is due by Tuesday, March 19 by third period; however, coaches are accepting payment before then as well. Teams may have 5-6 players to compete in the tournament.

Tickets to attend the student versus faculty game are $5 and will go on sale on Monday, March 18 and will be available for purchase during lunch.

The American Heart Association’s mission is to empower youth to live heart healthy lives through engaging activities and fun heart healthy events at school. The American Heart Challenge Volleyball Tournament is just one way that students can participate in fun, healthy competition while fighting and raising awareness to heart diseases and strokes.
