“To be a yearbook photographer is to capture the memories of the student body, and represent what it is to be a student at Timber Creek. I love to see people react to yearbook photos of them and their friends, and be able to have those high school memories forever captured in the moment.”
Melissa Hernandez, Editor
“Being a yearbook photographer has been an amazing experience. I love being able to travel to different events to capture candid moments of our student body doing what they love most. Yearbook has helped me develop my photography skills and has given unique opportunities that I couldn’t have received anywhere else as a high school student.”
Lauren Graham
“I love these pictures because all of them show genuine emotion. You can take a million beautiful pictures that will blow everyone away, but the ones that capture a moment are priceless. I love being able to snap a picture of the moments that students don’t know are being recorded, because they are so happy when they see that we were able to freeze that candid moment in time.”
Ainsley Lawhorne
“Being a yearbook photographer is the most stressful yet rewarding thing I’ve ever done. It’s a lot of work, taking the pictures and then getting interviews from the people in the pictures, and then when people compliment or buy pictures online, it makes me feel like I accomplished something.”
Lauren Quattlebaum
“I really love being a yearbook photographer because I get to see a lot of what goes on that I wouldn’t normally see. Because of yearbook, I’ve gone to football games, choir competitions, and our color run. I’ve watched the behind the scenes of so many things most students never get to experience.”
Aleena Davis
“I love these photos the most because I was able to capture amazing moments. I think it’s so important to represent our school through beautiful photos. Being a yearbook photographer this year was so special to me because so many moments happened, and almost every moment was captured by the yearbook staff.”
Peyton Lea
“These photos are my favorite because they show the skills I have worked to develop in my few years practicing photography. I’m immensely proud to have captured these moments and emotions for the people living them.”
Temi Ejuwa
“Being a yearbook photographer has impacted my life in such a big way. I love capturing pictures that can be saved forever. I love hearing all the positive things people say about the photos that I take. I love every single photo that I take because I got to make a beautiful moment last forever with a photo.”

“The reason why I like these pictures is because of the different emotions that each person projects.”
Addison Eanes
“Being a yearbook photographer is to capture memories that students will be able to go look back at in the future. I love being a part of something that I enjoy doing for fun, and I love being able to take pictures of memories that the school will remember forever.”
Bree Cryan
“Being a yearbook photographer is a huge role to play in high school. I view my role as someone who captures these memories for my peers, so that when they look back decades from now, they have all these memories from the pictures that we took. Taking pictures for our yearbook has sparked my passion for photography and made me realize how much I love capturing these moments for others to view.”
Connor Chance
“To be a yearbook photographer is one of the hardest jobs in high school because you’re dealing with real clients, real money and you’re putting out a product that people will have for years to come, so the pressure to make it the best you can is immense. The payoff is amazing and the friends that you make will stick for years.”
Emma Thornton
“Being a yearbook photographer means that we get to go places and see things that people don’t usually get the chance to see. We’re able to share those memories in the book for everyone else to be a part of. These photos are my top ones because you can see the emotion taking place.”
Grace Havenstrite
“I love being a yearbook photographer because you get to see all the behind the scenes. You are able to capture all the memories that no one else can. We are able to show the whole school, not just the memories of the players or cast, but from the memories of Timber Creek, and the memories created through the photos is what will stay forever.”
Megan Chromicle
“You know that feeling when you know you got a good shot, so you jump for joy and immediately go on your camera to look? I picked these photos as my top ones because right when I took them, I knew that I captured a memory that people would want to remember forever. I’m thankful that I have the amazing opportunity to give people something they can look back at 10 years from now and relive that moment.”
Nathan Gajary
“Being a yearbook photographer, to me, is being a person who is capturing photos for people to have for years to come. To make people happy that they have a place in our photos and not just as a subject, is special to me.”
