Football Preview

Timber Creek Football has already started practicing for their tough season ahead. The team will have 5 home games this season and 5 away games. With 34 Seniors, the Falcons are in high hopes.

Senior Quarterback Jason Akers, who’s returning for his second year starting, wants to change up his luck from last season, and believes the team has the talent to do so.

“This season will be very exciting, the younger guys have really stepped up to fill needed spots on the team,” Akers exclaimed.

Akers has all confidence in his team this season.

“I know we will be pretty good, we have talent all throughout the roster, I’m very excited for my senior year, I’m going to try and have as much fun this season as possible.” A team needs a strong leader, and Akers seems to fill that role.

The Falcons start their 2019-20 campaign on Aug. 29, taking on Rockwall-Heath in their first non-district game of the season. The matchup will take place at 7 PM at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium.

Ticket Information

Varsity football tickets may be purchased online using the links listed below. Advanced ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Online pricing changes at 4 p.m. on Game Day to $8 for General Admission.

Tickets may be purchased from the Campus Accountant, Sharon Danielson, each week. Tickets for Thursday night games will be sold from 8 am to 3 pm on Wednesdays and until 1:15 p.m. on Game Day.

Tickets for Friday night games will be sold from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursdays until 1:15 p.m. on Game Day.

Broadcast Dates

All varsity Falcon Football games played at Keller ISD stadium will be broadcast with live audio on TCFM – Timber Creek Student Radio (click here to listen –> https://live365.com/station/TCFM—Timber-Creek-High-Schoo-a27886). These games are free to listeners, but do not replay on TCFM.

Falcon Football television broadcasts include FOUR live Thursday night games from Keller ISD stadium, and other tape-delayed productions for Friday night games. With your subscription to the NFHS Network, viewers can witness the action and excitement of Falcon Football — all broadcast by students. Each broadcast is complete with camera work and switching from KCAL and Timber Creek A/V students, replays and multiple camera angles, graphics and video segments, plus commentary from Timber Creek Sports Network students.

With your NFHS Network subscription, eight of the varsity season games are available, including the away game on Sept. 6 at Prosper High School. Those not listed as “live” will be available around one hour after the completion of a game on Friday night and available for 72 hours exclusively on NFHS Network.
