The choir program has their first concert of the year on Oct. 22 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. All seven choirs in the program will perform at least two pieces for this event.
Starting the year off on a high note, director Adrian Kirtley has selected a large variety of rhythmic and percussive pieces. From gorgeous ballads to intense dynamic pieces, there will be no shortage of wonderful music, with a little something for everyone.
“The fall concert is kind of interesting, because now that last year’s seniors have left, it’s now this time of figuring out our new sound and getting back into our groove as a program,” senior Shawn Harris said. “The first concert of the year is when everyone really gets into high gear.”
Come and support these songbirds in the FAC on Oct. 22.
