The Falcon Baseball team’s dodgeball tournament fundraiser will make a return on Friday, Dec. 6. Students, teachers, and coaches are welcome to participate in the fun.
Those who want to participate must gather a team of ten people and go see Coaches Santos Casillas, Bradley Morrow, or Coach Potts between Nov. 20 and Dec. 4. On those days, the coaches will be selling tickets for teams during lunches. They can also be found before or after school in the field house.
Teams must pay a total of $40 ($4 per student). Each member will receive a gold ticket, which allows them to be dismissed at 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 6 in order to be ready to start the tournament at the beginning of fifth period.
The dodgeball tournament has traditionally been an annual school function, however, last school year it didn’t happen due to scheduling conflicts for the gymnasium.
“This has been a tradition for the baseball team to help out as a fundraiser to buy equipment,” Casillas said. “It is a fun time for everyone.”
If one would like to spectate and not play, the coaches will sell purple tickets during lunches on Dec. 2 through Dec. 6. Purple tickets are $4 each, and allow students to leave as soon as their fifth period teachers take attendance.
