Battle of The Brains: Trivia Night To Raise Money For Falcon Statue

Starting this year, seniors have the opportunity to be exempt from taking their spring semester finals. In order to qualify, seniors must have an 85 or above semester average, and have three or less unexcused absences in second, third, or fourth period and six or less absences in first or fifth period.
Now at the end of their season, the program finished with the varsity men becoming back-to-back District 5-6A Champions, and the girls varsity taking third overall. With at least one athlete qualifying for the men in 15 events, and the girls taking on 9 of the 17 events at Area Competition, the team’s success has only first begun, and has been invested into the program daily.
The English I EOC will be held Tuesday, April 9 and the English II EOC will be Thursday, April 11.
Taking place at the Performing Arts Center of Colony High School on Saturday, April 13 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., is the 2019 North Texas Military Forum, co-hosted by Texas Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, for students interested in becoming a military officer.
On Sunday, March 31, rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in front of one of his Marathon Clothing stores in South Los Angeles. The musician was well known for his humanitarian efforts in South Central neighborhoods and the youth.
Since its founding in 2009, Timber Creek High School has left a legacy of being truly committed to helping students soar to new heights of achievement — now TCHS leadership is looking for current and former Falcons, community members, and others to help leave a lasting legacy with a iconic statue.
Falcon Theatre’s competitive UIL One-Act Play show, “The Lost Boy” by Ronald Gabriel Paolillo, will perform for the last time this coming Monday, April 8. They will perform throughout the day for classes, then finish the day with a free, final performance at 7 p.m.
Following a years worth of hard work and filling out college applications, graduating seniors will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21 for their scholarship achievements.
The theatre department is presenting “Treasure Island,” which will be bringing the children’s story to the stage Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7 in the auditorium.
