Chamber Choir earned their place as Grand Champions at their first competition, the North Texas Madrigal Festival, on March 8, 2019. Not only was it a prestigious honor to have won first place among the 38 participating choirs, but this is the first year Timber Creek has had a Chamber Choir.
The softball team will be going up against Southlake Carroll on Friday, March 29. Hoping to make it into playoffs for the sixth consecutive year, while the team lost starters with the 2018 class athletes graduating, they have made up for it with their new varsity members, as the underclassmen refuse to give up.
Keller ISD’s annual Chad Powell Special Olympics Track Meet and the 2nd Annual Walk, Run, Push Special Needs Fun Run and 5K will take place Wednesday, March 27. Volunteers for the event are still needed and service hours can be earned.
On March 12, 50 people were charged with bribing several ivy league colleges, in order to admit their children into the schools. The group of parents charged were made up of celebrities, business executives, and others.
Students taking AP exams must register for exams by March 22. The cost is $94 per exam and registration will close permanently at 4:00 PM on March 22, 2019.
Lauren Graham was named the Junior Volunteer of the Year by Cook Children’s Medical Center, located in downtown Fort Worth, through the junior volunteer summer program during the summer of 2018.

High school students and parents can agree that they aren’t given enough attention from their counselors. This is because there simply aren’t enough counselors to accommodate the thousands of students attending each high school in Keller ISD.
A group of students and faculty are composing a project to show the janitors just how crucial they are to our school’s ecosystem. More volunteers are most definitely needed to ensure adequate love and personalization for each custodian’s gift.
