UPDATED: Drive-Thru Collection and Distribution Day Set for May 15

On Friday, May 15, Timber Creek will host a drive-thru style distribution and collection day, in which students and parents have the opportunity to turn in textbooks and technology, and seniors may pick up caps and gowns. The relay of items will remain as contactless as possible, so families will be asked to stay in their vehicles as medically screened staff members come and assist everyone.

The Times

In order to best accommodate students and families that will be picking up/dropping off items on Friday, May 15, the distribution team is offering two slots in which families may be served. The following times are:

  • 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. OR
  • 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Seniors are recommended to arrive during the 10 to 2 p.m. window.

The Route

The route in which families will drive can be seen by clicking here or below. Drivers will enter the route and follow the red arrows to sections one and two. Drivers picking up items for seniors will then follow the navy blue arrows to continue on to stations three and four, while other drivers will continue on the path signified by the red arrows and exit the campus.

The Stations

There will be four stations along the traffic route in which students and families may access during the distribution day. The are listed in the order in which they are presented on the traffic map.

Station 1 – All Students – Textbook Collection (Outside Door #13)

This station will be for all students to return textbooks, library books, and any books that have been borrowed from a teacher’s classroom. The medically screened staff will be there to scan them in. If you are still using your book to complete an assignment or study for an AP Test, please feel free to keep it for now. We will be scheduling another distribution and collection day soon when yearbooks have arrived, and we will add another station for book collection at that time.

Station 2 – All Students – Technology Collection (Outside Door #12)

This station will be for collecting any technology items that you may have in your possession pre-COVID-19 and may need to return. If you have a MiFi device or Chromebook that you checked out during COVID-19, you will not return your device(s) at this time. The only exception to that would be for Seniors. If you are a Senior and no longer need your MiFi or Chromebook, please feel free to drop it off at this station on Friday. If you are a Senior and still need your device(s) to complete an assignment or for use during an AP Test, please feel free to keep your device(s) for now. We will collect all remaining Senior device(s) during our next upcoming distribution and collection day.

After Station 2, non-Senior students will continue along the Red Arrow route and exit the campus.

Station 3 – Seniors Only – Distribution of Free Gifts to All Seniors (Outside Door #9)

Seniors, please bring a school ID or a government issued ID with you on Friday. This will be needed for Station 3.

Station 4 – Seniors Only – Cap and Gown, and Graduation Cord Distribution (Outside Door #3)

Seniors, please bring a school ID or government issued ID with you on Friday. This will be needed for Station 4. Balfour will have all the items that students ordered, including graduation announcements. We greatly encourage all Seniors to arrive during the 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. time frame. Balfour will be on site during this time only to address any issues that may arise, including collection of payment balances or problems with your order. If you have not fully paid for any of your graduation items, you will not be able to pick them up during the 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. time frame; Balfour will contact you directly.

What About Yearbooks?

Unfortunately, yearbooks will not be distributed at this time. A new date for yearbook distribution will be scheduled as soon as the staff receives an update from the company, according to Principal Michelle Somerhalder.
