Interested in traveling, meeting new people, and learning new skills this summer? Students have a unique opportunity to apply for a scholarship to study abroad through CIEE. Any student graduating in 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023 is eligible to apply for a scholarship.

KISD High Schools’ Theatre Departments Celebrate Each Other at 6th Annual Kelley Awards

On Friday Jan. 24, thespians from around the district gathered to celebrate one another at the sixth annual Kelley Awards. Falcon Theatre’s Big Fish shined throughout the night, winning a total of six awards.

As deadlines come and go, seniors apply for college, gather letters of recommendation, and request their transcripts. The deadline to request transcripts before winter break is Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m.

HOSA’s November Blood Drive Saves Over 300 Lives

On Thursday, Nov. 21 HOSA held their annual fall blood drive in conjunction with Carter BloodCare in the Small Gym. Over 119 students registered to donate blood, 80 of them being first time donors.

Fall Semester Seat Time Due Dec. 6

The deadline for completion of seat time for the fall semester is Dec. 6. Students who do not complete their seat time hours by this date may have to repeat the course they missed to earn credit for it.

Bringing Words to Life; Author Kayla Olson to Visit Creative Writing Class

$315M Keller ISD Bond Passes in Close Vote

Members living in the Keller Independent School District (KISD) were encouraged to vote on the 2019 KISD Bond. While the election could’ve gone either way, the 2019 KISD Bond ultimately passed with 53.46% of the votes.
