As the school year comes to a close, many students begin to plan for their college journey. The DFW Admissions Regional Network (DARN) will host the following college fairs throughout the summer break through their 2019 College Search Series.
Eleven art students from Timber Creek received awards at the recent Scholastic Art contest, with one student advancing to the national level of competition.
Former Falcon Angelique Dockendorf, has moved on and is now working to obtain her PhD degree from Baylor University. Dockendorf graduated from Timber Creek as the valedictorian in the class of 2015 and graduated from Baylor with the class of 2018 and discovered her true passion, despite it clashing the path she had already chosen.

As we come towards the middle of the year and the end of the first semester, students are being bombarded with large amounts of homework to prepare them for midterms and finals. The amount of homework put onto students stresses them out and doesn’t give them the time of relaxation that every student should have everyday.
As the end of the first semester comes to a close before winter break, textbooks need to be returned for any class lasting only one semester.
