Costs and Costa Rica, Attend Informational Meeting on Dec. 12

EF Educational Tours is offering Falcons a trip to Costa Rica in July of 2021 to gain college hours and travel experience. Cody Turner is hosting the informative meeting Dec. 12 at 6:30 pm in the Library conference room.

Winter Wonderful: Choir Holds Winter Concert

The choir is ending 2019 with joyful music performed by all seven choirs. They will perform in their annual winter concert on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. Admission into the event is free.

Baby Got Track: Cross Country UIL Regional Success

The Falcon Cross Country team travelled to Texas Tech on Oct. 28 for the UIL Regional Championship. Juniors Robert Neeley and Eric Gordon placed eighth and twenty-first respectively, and the girl’s cross country team placed eighth overall.

Missed the Target: The Changes of Wages

Target promised that it would raise their minimum wage to $15 two years ago, and they finally delivered. However, there have been numerous reports by store workers that the wage increase has actually led to less pay.

New Dynamics: Fall Choir Concert to be Held on Oct. 22

The choir program has their first concert of the year on Oct. 22 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center. All seven choirs in the program will perform at least two pieces for this event.

Falcons to Songbirds; Choir Members Advance in All-State Choir Competition

The first round of the 2019 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) all state choir auditions took place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Keller High School. The TMEA All-State Choir is an extremely prestigious state level choir that receives thousands of auditions each year.
