Over the past summer, several Timber Creek students traveled to Germany and stayed at the house of a German student they were paired with, also known as their “brother” or “sister.” Now, the time came for German exchange students to visit Texas.

The Class of 2019 will be having “The Grooviest Night” at Roller World Northeast on Tuesday, Oct. 16 to raise money for their class.
National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is holding their second Paint Night of the school year on Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in room FA108. The cost to participate is $20 per person.

Here are the colleges that will be visiting Timber Creek High School during the next two weeks for cafeteria visits and counseling conferences:
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 8:00 a.m. in the Lecture Hall. Students who are interested in taking the test need to sign up in the counselors office with Dena Blackwell. The deadline to sign up is Monday, Oct. 24.
On Oct. 22, 20 German students will become the tourists and arrive at Timber Creek, with TC students paired up to host them, just as they did they did last summer in Germany.
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 5, an admissions representative from the University of North Texas will be working as an advisor to give advice to anyone who wants to know more about college.
Ms. Lorenz and Ms. Brundrett will be sponsoring a trip to Europe scheduled for July 2019. On this trip students and teachers from all over the district will be traveling to London, Paris, and the Alps.
