Ya Like Jazz? Jazz Band Hosts Fourth Annual Swing Dance Concert Feb. 28

The jazz band will host their fourth annual swing dance concert on Friday, Feb. 28 in the cafeteria from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $5 until Feb. 28, while tickets sold at the door will cost attendees $8.

Born and raised in Oakland, California, Alicia Garza is a queer, black civil rights activist, and editorial writer. Garza is most notable for her co-founding of the ‘Black Lives Matter Movement’ back in 2013 with Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Opal Tometi.

Annual Falcon Cluster Concert on Feb. 6 in Fine Arts Center

The band will be hosting their annual Falcon Cluster Concert on Thursday Feb. 6 in the Fine Arts Center from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. While admission is free, the directors have asked for there to only be parents and guardians of the students at Trinity Spring Middle School and Timberview Middle School for Thursday’s performance.

Author Neal Shusterman Rescheduled to Visit Feb. 10

Get ‘Lost’ in the Drumline and Winterguard Showcase on Jan. 25

On Saturday, Jan. 25, the drumline and winterguard programs will be hosting their annual indoor showcase for their 2020 season. The showcase will start at 8 p.m. in the gym. Admission is $5 at the door and children 5 and under will be admitted into the event for free.
