The Saxophone Choir will host a send off concert on Sunday, Dec. 15 before they travel to perform in the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. The concert will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center.
With the loss of former band directors, Darla McBryde and Hunter Bown, there was more dread and fear coming into the new season than ever before. After the marching show was reinvented, the Falcon Marching Band would overcome their stresses and went into the season with everything they could give.
‘The Phantom Killer,” is credited with attacking eight people within 10 weeks, five of whom were killed and three were wounded. The attacks occurred on weekends between Feb. 22, 1946 and May 3, 1946.
After competing in two competitions, marching band will compete in Duncanville, TX, on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Panther Stadium, where they will compete to win the the 26th Annual Duncanville Marching Invitational.
Balfour representatives will visit lunches on second Thursday of every month for students to order class rings. Balfour’s next visit will be on Thursday, Oct. 10.
As the week of homecoming festivities winds down to an end, so does National Suicide Prevention Week. The campaign began on Sunday, Sept. 8 and will end on Saturday, Sept. 14.
Although AP exams aren’t until May, students who plan on taking an AP exam this school year will need to register by 4 p.m. Nov. 8.

On Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m., the Timber Creek Band released the 2019 marching band show theme on TCTV’s Youtube channel. After many hours of mystery solving throughout the day, the band students were thrilled to see that next year’s show will be ‘Myths and Mysteries.’
Come celebrate 10 years of the Arts program at the very first Fine Arts Gala on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th in the Fine Arts center at 7p.m.
