On Saturday, Nov. 3, the Timber Creek Marching Band competed at the Bands of America Super Regional Competition in San Antonio, TX. This was the last performance of “From the Ground Up” the band will ever perform, making it an emotional one for many of the varsity members.
Students from the Keller High School band, who did advance, recognized all the hard work Timber Creek put in, and wanted to do something that would honor them during their own state contest performances.
On Monday, Oct. 22, the Timber Creek Marching Band competed at the UIL Region 30 Marching Contest in Joshua, TX. Originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16, the event was rescheduled due to rain.
When Hannah Engebretson became Band Service Committee Leader, the Snack Sack Project was hit by a wave of success, providing enough weekend bags to last until Thanksgiving break.
Bands throughout Keller ISD showed off their marching shows and performed at the annual Band Expo on Oct. 2, 2018.
On October 2, the Sixth Annual Keller ISD Marching Expo will be at the Keller ISD Athletic Complex.
On Saturday, Sept. 22, the Timber Creek band made Keller ISD history. They became the first high school band in the district to win a Bands Of America Regional Competition.
The Timber Creek Band Parent Association (BPA) created a Falcon Alumni shirt to wear “during homecoming week and beyond.”
Summer always seems to fly by, but especially so if you’re a band student. This year, band camp was in full swing by July 23, and the band hasn’t slowed down since.
