Over 90 hours of hard work and dedication has been put into the drumline’s indoor show entitled “Sail”. The drumline competed against about 50 other groups and finished tenth in the world at the WGI World Championships from their class.
On Tuesday, April 17, all four Timber Creek concert ensembles participated in the Region 30 UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest, held at Chisholm Trail High School.
Registration is now open for the annual Bands of Keller Music Miles 5K race. The event will be held on April 28, 2018 at 1100 Bear Creek Parkway in Keller. The scheduled start time is 8 a.m., and a warm up will be available at 7:45. The race will be a chipped time event and is for all ages and fitness levels.
Beginning Wednesday, April 18, the Colorguard will be hosting audition clinics for students looking to join.
On Saturday April 14, the drumline won first place at the National Texas Colorguard Association Championships or NTCA, making Timber Creek history.
The Wind Symphony is currently seeking to expand their instrumentation in order to play more progressive musical literature.
The Timber Creek Drumline began their indoor season Saturday, Feb. 24, at Klein Oak High School, competing at the Winter Guard International or WGI in Houston and finishing in third place.
Timber Creeks very own euphonium player, junior Jayne Margason, performed in the incredibly elite Symphonic All State band on Feb. 17 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center located in San Antonio.
Both of Timber Creek’s winterguards brought home superior ratings and special awards at a regional competition on Feb. 17, 2018.
