Art Students Qualify For Upcoming State VASE

Both of Timber Creek’s winterguards brought home superior ratings and special awards at a regional competition on Feb. 17, 2018.
Though it is often difficult as American students to grasp the severity of Syrian children’s conditions, Timber Creek art students did, and took action to partner with The Memory Project and became their personal sketch artists.
Timber Creek art students have recently won Scholastic Art and Writing awards for their work.
The Timber Creek Wind Symphony Trumpet section has been named a semi-finalist at the National Trumpet Competition. They will compete in the next round on March 8 at the University of North Texas.
On Saturday, Feb. 3, the Timber Creek Band will be hosting an electronics fundraiser from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the band parking lot located north of the football field.

January 19, 2018 the 14th Annual Kelley’s Awards were held at Timber Creek to honor the stars of the Keller ISD’s theatre program.
The Kimbell Art Museum is hosting a free Teen Hangout on Feb. 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
VASE is a competition among art students across Texas. Art students and teacher collaborate to make fantastic art pieces for the event. This year, Timber Creek will also be hosting the annual VASE event Feb. 10.
